Female arm.

The arm is the human upper appendage. It exists twice, known as the left and right arm. The arm is connected to the torso by the shoulder and consists of the following parts: upper arm, elbow, forearm. At the end of the forearm, the hand is attached at the wrist.

The arm-hand unit allows humans to do all kinds of work: grasping, moving, touching, pushing, pulling, carrying etc. all kinds of objects.

An interesting fact is that all healthy children between the age of 1 and 5 have a middle upper arm circumference of 14 centimeters. Therefore the middle upper arm circumference is an easy means to diagnose malnutrition.

The arm and spankingEdit

...and bent.

The spanker's arm is vital to the action of spanking, both when hand-spanking and when using an implement. The spanker's arms are also used to get the spankee in position and keep him/her there during the spanking.

The spankee's arms must not be allowed to obstruct the spanking, so it may be necessary to hold them out of the way, e.g. by another assisting person or by the spanker's non-spanking hand. In the OTK position, this is usually done by pinning one or both arms on the spankee's lower back, above the buttocks and thus out of the way, at the wrists.

In BDSM and judicial corporal punishment, the arms are also often bound, e.g. with rope, straps, a fabric belt, handcuffs, a straitjacket or bondage tape. The arms can be bound at the front, at the back, or to an object such as an item of spanking furniture (e.g. a St. Andrews cross or a birching horse).
