Erotica vs. pornographyEdit
The term "erotica" tends to have a more favorable connotation than "pornography". Some people use "erotica" to suggest a work in which greater literary skill, character analysis, and the like are displayed than in works labeled as "pornography". However, most erotica looks to stimulate sexual arousal or feelings on the part of the reader or viewer, and all erotica works because of the interest that humans have generally in sexual subjects. In this regard, erotica is not unlike pornography.
