Stock photography

(Redirected from Stock photo)

Stock photography is the supply of photographs licensed for specific uses. It is used to fulfill the needs of creative assignments instead of hiring a photographer. Today, stock images can be presented in searchable online databases. They can be purchased and delivered online. Often, they are produced in studios using a wide variety of models posing as professionals, stereotypes, expressing stereotypical emotions and gesticulations or involving pets.

Stock photos are often used in journalism to illustrate an article for which no photo made specifically for the article is necessary or available.

Stock photos are often taken with figures and objects in the foreground on a plain white background.

Spanking in stock photograpyEdit

There are many stock photos available to illustrate spanking. These typically show spanking of children by their parents (domestic spanking given for punishment). See also child spanking photo.

Such spanking stock photos are always staged, no model is ever actually spanked. The children act to express emotions such as fear or pain. Often, the spanking position is somewhat unrealistic or awkward. Even more often, only the threat of a spanking (e.g. a spanking implement held in the parent's hand) is shown. The models are generally always fully clothed.

Other related topics found in stock photography are scolding, ear pulling, corner time, dunce caps and writing lines. Furthermore, there are also stock photos that illustrate adult spanking, either humorous or in a BDSM context.
